Founded more than a decade ago, CADDRA’s ADHD Research Day was created to provide a dedicated forum for advancing Canadian ADHD research and fostering collaboration among clinicians, scientists, and trainees.
As the founding chair reflects on its evolution over the past 12 years, Research Day has grown from a modest gathering into a highly anticipated event within the CADDRA conference program. It has become a platform for showcasing emerging evidence, highlighting innovative research from across the country, and supporting the next generation of ADHD researchers. Through poster presentations, trainee awards, and engaging discussions, Research Day continues to strengthen the research community and promote the translation of scientific discoveries into improved care for individuals with ADHD.
Watch founding Research Day chair, Dr. Maggie Toplak, outline its history and development.
